The role
Sentinel Forge is hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen detection engineering and cloud security operations. You will write detections, review architecture, and support incident response with calm, documented practice. Responsibilities: • Build and tune detections across cloud and identity telemetry • Support incident response and post-incident reviews • Assess customer cloud posture and recommend durable controls • Contribute to runbooks, tabletop exercises, and tooling Requirements: • 5+ years in security engineering, detection, or SOC engineering • Experience with AWS security, identity, and logging • Comfort with Python or similar scripting for automation • Clear incident communication under pressure Benefits: • Remote United States role • Paid on-call rotation • Security training stipend • 401(k) with match
