The role
Northline is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to strengthen the core ledger and settlement platform. You will work on high-throughput services, data integrity, and the interfaces that partner banks rely on every day.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services for payments, ledgering, and reconciliation
- Improve reliability, observability, and operational runbooks for production systems
- Partner with product, risk, and customer engineering on delivery plans
- Review code, mentor teammates, and contribute to engineering standards
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong experience with TypeScript or Java in production services
- Comfort with PostgreSQL, event-driven systems, and cloud infrastructure
- Clear written communication and a bias toward maintainable systems
